Direct digitization
With direct digitization, the content of a shipment is recorded directly when the shipment is captured with a document scanner or camera and saved as a PDF file for the shipment.

Inbox (MS/OS-IHS)
Digitizing items in your inbox saves you valuable delivery time.
At the same time, the opening rules are always adhered to in accordance with the recipient's specifications.
CodX PostOffice offers the simple digitization of items in the inbox, completely integrated into the overall process.
The behavior of the direct digitization is controlled by the selection of the receiver.
For persons and cost centers the behavior can be defined, for logistic units (as receivers) the
function is not available.
The settings are made in the Digitization tab of the corresponding detail dialog.
The physical delivery of the shipment and the notification of the recipient can be configured for a validity area and certain services.

If direct digitizing is configured for the selected receiver, the scanner icon is displayed with a red scanning area.
