Use-Case Capture General

The Use-Case Capture is used for the capture of shipments that go through the same process as MS-IHS. The settings of the use case are distributed over different tabs, to group them logically and to save space. This tab contains the general settings.

In this view, you can see all the elements that belong to the the general settings of the Capture use case. In the following is a description of the setting options. Please please note that some elements are not visible if the corresponding prerequisites are not fulfilled, for example, the selection of the selection of the print layout or the setting for an alternative print layout is not visible in the case of read errors if no print module is is available, or the IHS settings are not visible if the corresponding license is not available. The same applies to the settings which are specific for sort functions, these are only visible if a sort module is also connected.

Operation

  • Image processing
    On this tab the ImageParser rule which should be used for the scanning process. It only the ImageParser rules are listed, which are intended for the mode "Capture" mode. These rules can be set in the settings in the menu "Production" on the tab "ImageParser". can be adjusted.

  • Power
    Select the service that applies to the items to be entered here. shipments to be entered. This service is also used to find recipients and districts and is saved on the shipment. stored on the shipment.
    Please note that only services are displayed which meet the following conditions:
    - Shipment related services
    - No extra service
    - Available for sorting machine or sorting machine IHS

  • Printer layout
    Select a printer layout here with which you want to print the items. you want to print.

  • Postal address

  • Inhouse address
    In this mode the receiver is searched and verified in IHS mode.

  • Sorting plan
    If a sorting module is connected, select a suitable sorting plan here. suitable sort plan.   • Check company name
    The function is only available in IHS mode (in AZD mode the checkbox is switched off and disabled).
    If the function is activated, the system checks whether the company name for the person or cost center found also exists on the address exists for the person or cost center. The name of the customer assigned to the person/cost center is used as the company name. If the check fails, the transmission is ejected to the function tray 'No-Receiver'.

  • Check person first name
    The function is only available in IHS mode (in AZD mode the checkbox is switched off and disabled).
    If the function is switched on, it is checked whether the first name and surname for the person found exist on the same line. If the check fails, the transmission is ejected to the 'No-Receiver' function tray.

  • Check recipient address
    The function is only available in IHS mode (in AZD mode the checkbox is switched off and disabled).
    If the function is switched on, it is checked whether the postal address of the recipient is available in the OCR result.
    If the check fails, the transmission is ejected into the function tray 'No-Receiver'.
    The check of the postal address is inaccurate. This means that a certain fuzziness of the address check is allowed.
    If the recipient found is a customer, the postal address of the customer including the old addresses is checked.
    If the receiver found is a cost center, the postal address of the cost center and the corresponding customer, including the old addresses are checked.
    If the receiver found is a logistics unit, the postal address of the logistics unit is checked.
    If the receiver found is a person, the system checks the postal address of the cost center and the corresponding customer, including the old addresses. are checked.
    In all cases, the address must be recorded in the territory data of CodX PostOffice.
