Logic for determining the workstation or
P.O. Box system
In several locations in CodX PostOffice you can
assignments for the workstation and the mailbox system tray
can be made.
The logic for determining the workstation or
of the P.O. box is to be explained using the four examples. (see
picture)
The green marked data records
apply to the current day.
If there are several data records without
precedence and they all have the same time range, the user must make a selection.
user must make a selection. (Case 4)
The following precondition must already be fulfilled:
Service and validity area.
Behaviour based on priority
Two workstations or mailboxes are assigned to one
workstations or mailboxes are assigned to a person or cost center. One assignment has a shorter period, the other a longer one.
Depending on how the 'Priority' setting is set, CodX PostOffice behaves accordingly:

|
Case 1. all assignments have the 'Priority' setting set. In this case, CodX PostOffice selects the shorter assignment.
Case 2: An assignment has set 'Priority' (a longer one). Thus, CodX PostOffice selects the assignment
with priority.
Case 3. two assignment with 'priority'.
CodX PostOffice selects the shorter assignment from them.

Case
4. two assignment with 'priority'. Both have the same
duration.
CodX PostOffice selects the more recent assignment.
assignment.
Case 5: All assignments have the 'Priority' setting
and the time ranges are identical.
In this case CodX PostOffice does not make a unique choice but leaves the selection to the user (e.g. MS-IHS).
In the IHS web interface, the selection cannot be made.
Therefore a mail creation is not possible.
Case 6: All assignments have the 'Priority' setting
and the time ranges are different.
CodX PostOffice selects the shorter assignment from them.
of them.

The following rules therefore apply:
-
If at least one record with priority
exists, only data records with priority are taken into account.
If more than one record is available, CodX PostOffice
selects one according to the following rules:
If there are records from mailboxes, they have priority over the workstations.

If there are several data records of

Further criteria for post office box systems
If the user cannot make a selection (e.g.
