Settings KEP DHL Express

Enter the settings for your DHL Express account here.

An account with DHL-Express is a prerequisite for using DHL-Express as a service provider.

For information about your account, please contact your DHL Express account manager.

The settings entered here must comply with DHL's specifications.

002: Password for authentication Password (minimum 8, maximum 20 characters)
006: Language code (2-digit ISO code) Language code (2 characters)

021: Sender company name Company name (minimum 2, maximum 35 characters)
022: Sender contact person name Contact Name (minimum 2, maximum 35 characters)
023: Sender Contact person Phone no. Contact person Phone (maximum 25 characters)
024: Sender contact person EMail EMail address of the sender/contact person
031: Sender country code (ISO2 code) Country code (ISO2 code, exactly 2 characters)

040: Use fixed sender address from definition Defines whether the sender address from this definition is used. Otherwise the logic for determining the s ender address is used.
051: URL for dispatch URL for communication with DHL Express

ATTENTION: The above URL must have the <%ALTERNATIVCODE%> extension!
This will be replaced by the corresponding consignment code during the request
061: Mode for price determination Defines the mode for the determination of the consignment price.
DHL Express always transmits the shipment price.
Possible options:
  • Price of CEP if no price error
    If the shipment price is supplied by the CEP, then this is used, otherwise an appropriate error message appears and the shipment is not stored.
  • Price of KEP, if no price Inquire
    If the shipment price is supplied by the CEP, this is used, otherwise the user is asked whether the shipment price is to be entered manually or determined on the basis of the tariff model.
  • Price from KEP, if no price from tariff model
    If the shipment price is supplied by the CEP, this is used, otherwise the shipment price is determined during the order run on the basis of the rate model.
  • Price from CEP, if no price is to be entered manually
    If the shipment price is supplied by the CEP, then this is used, otherwise a dialogue for the manual entry of the shipment price is indicated.
  • Price from tariff model
    The shipment price is always determined during the order run on the basis of the tariff model, regardless of whether the price is supplied by the CEP or not.
Default: Price from CEP, if no price Request.
071: Notify recipient via e-mail Checkbox (Yes/No), Default = No.
Defines whether the recipient of a shipment is notified via email when the shipment is sent.
A valid email address must be entered in the extended attribute Receiver EMail-Address a valid email address must be entered must be entered.
081: Replacement character for multiline recipient names Replacement character for the line separator of multiline recipient names, default = <blank> (no replacement).
Multiline recipient names are separated in PostOffice by a definable character (default = "|").
The replacement character defined here replaces this separator.
This becomes effective if the setting "082: Multiline recipient names" is switched off or the recipient name has more lines than the is possible (in this case the replacement is effective in the last line).
082: Split multiline recipient names Checkbox (Yes/No), Default = No.
Defines whether multiline recipient names are divided among several address lines.
A maximum of 3 lines is supported. Second/third name lines appear as additional address lines on the consignment label.
091: Service for return consignment Defines the service that is used when recording return items in the outbox. in the outgoing mail.
If a return shipment is entered in the MS/OS-AZD, these shipments automatically receive the service set here.
Default: <No selection>.
092: Service for receipt of return shipment Defines the service to be used when capturing returned items in the inbox. is used.
If in the MS/OS-IHS via F4 an incoming return item is entered, these items automatically receive the service set here. set here. The service stored on the returned item (according to setting 091: Service for returned item with the service defined here) is used. Return cons ignment is replaced with the service defined here.
Default: <No selection>.
093: Order identifier for reference Defines whether the recorded order identifier of the consignment is to be transferred to the CEP service provider as a reference. Possible options:
  • Always consignment UPOC
    The UPOC of the consignment is always used as a reference.
  • Order ID, if available
    If the order identifier is not empty, it is used as reference, otherwise the UPOC.
Default: Always Shipment UPOC
093: Formula for shipment reference See formula for shipment reference.
Total maximum length: 35 characters
094: Prefix for return shipment Defines a prefix that is prepended to the reference for return shipments . This makes it easy to returns shipments can be easily identified on the CEP shipment label.
Default:"RET: "
Example: With UPOC = 0199982000113984 the consignment reference:"RET: 0199982000113984".

Additional requirements

Furthermore, the CEP-specific products must be available in the tariff model. To do this, import the corresponding tariff model tariff model via system tasks (Job Engine) (see Import Tariff Model).
