ImageParser settings

#ImageParser

In this dialog, global, system-wide standard settings are made for the text box detector in the image parser.
These values are used if they are not defined in the ImageParser (the values from the ImageParser have priority).
To edit these settings, the user must have the"Administrator" right!
For more detailed information on the exclusion zone, franking zone and coding zone, see AdminDoc #ImageParser.

The following settings are available:

Setting Allowed values Default value Remark
101: Reduced image resolution for text box detection [DPI] 60..200 [DPI] 100 [DPI] Defines the image resolution with which the text box detection is carried out [DPI].
A low value increases the processing speed, a high value increases the precision.
102: Maximum word spacing (horizonatal) for text box detection [mm] 2..20 [mm] 4.0 [mm] Defines the maximum horizontal distance between two words so that they belong to the same text box.
103: Maximum line spacing (vertical) for text box detection [mm] 2..20 [mm] 10.0 [mm] Defines the maximum vertical spacing between two lines so that they belong to the same text box.
Set this value so that lines with postcode/city are correctly contained in the text block.
104: Size of the frame around found text blocks [mm] 0..10 [mm] 2.0 [mm] Defines the size of the frame that is additionally cut out around the detected rectangle.
201: Top exclusion zone [mm] >= 0 [mm] 0 [mm] Defines the height of the top exclusion zone in [mm].
202: Exclusion zone bottom [mm] >= 0 [mm] 0 [mm] Defines the height of the bottom exclusion zone in [mm].
203: Exclusion zone left [mm] >= 0 [mm] 0 [mm] Defines the width of the exclusion zone on the left in [mm].
204: Exclusion zone right [mm] >= 0 [mm] 0 [mm] Defines the width of the exclusion zone on the right in [mm].
210: Franking zone width [mm] >= 0 [mm] 70 [mm] Defines the width of the franking zone in [mm].
211: Franking zone height [mm] >= 0 [mm] 38 [mm] Defines the height of the franking zone in [mm].
220: Coding zone small letters [mm] >= 0 [mm] 15 [mm] Defines the height of the coding zone for small letters (C6/C5) in [mm].
221: Coding zone for large letters [mm] >= 0 [mm] 35 [mm] Defines the height/width of the coding zone for large letters (C4) in [mm].
