CEP UPS settings

Enter the settings for your UPS account here.

A corresponding account is a prerequisite for using UPS as a service provider.

For information about your account, please contact your UPS account manager/contact person.

The settings entered here must match the UPS specifications.

011: UPS account number	UPS account number, must contain exactly 6 characters! This account will also be used for billing.
021: Sender company name	Company name (minimum 1 character, maximum 35 characters) Only 30 characters are printed on the consignment label!
022: Sender contact person Name	Contact name (minimum 1, maximum 35 characters) Only 30 characters are printed on the consignment label!
023: Sender Contact person Telephone no.	Contact telephone number (minimum 1, maximum 15 characters) Valid values are the digits 0..9, spaces can be used for better readability The layout is: country code, area code, 7-digit number Example: DE: 0049 30 1234567, CH: 0041 26 324 11 13
024: Sender contact person EMail	Contact person e-mail address (minimum 1 character, maximum 50 characters)
031: Sender country code (ISO2 code)	Country code (ISO2 code, exactly 2 characters) Example: DE, CH, AT
033: Sender zip code	Postal code (minimum 1 character, maximum 10 characters)
034: Sender town incl. district	City incl. district if applicable (minimum 1 character, maximum 30 characters) Only 15 characters are printed on the consignment label!
035: Sender Street incl. house number	Address, street incl. house number and additional information (minimum 1 character, maximum 35 characters) Only 30 characters are printed on the consignment label!
040: Use fixed sender address from definition	Defines whether the fixed sender address from this definition is used. Otherwise, the logic for determining the sender address is used.
051: URL for dispatch	URL for communication with UPS Default value productive account: https://onlinetools.ups.com
053: URL for shipment tracking (Track and Trace)	URL for shipment tracking (Track & Trace): Default value: http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/track?track=yes&trackNums=<%ALTERNATIVECODE%>&loc=<%LANGUAGE%> ATTENTION: The above URL must be provided with the extensions <%LANGUAGE%> and <%ALTERNATIVECODE%>! These will be replaced by the corresponding language and the shipment code during the request.
061: Mode for price determination	Defines the mode for determining the shipment price. UPS always transmits the shipment price. Possible options: Price from CEP, if no price Error If the CEP provides the shipment price, this is used, otherwise a corresponding error message appears and the shipment is not saved. Price from CEP if no price Request If the CEP supplies the shipment price, this is used, otherwise the user is asked whether the shipment price should be entered manually or determined based on the tariff model. Price from CEP, if no price from tariff model If the CEP supplies the shipment price, this is used, otherwise the shipment price is determined during the order run based on the tariff model. Enter price from CEP if no price manually If the CEP supplies the shipment price, this is used, otherwise a dialog for manual entry of the shipment price is displayed. Price from tariff model The shipment price is always determined during the order run based on the tariff model, regardless of whether the price is supplied by the CEP or not. Default: Price from CEP, if no price is requested
071: Notify recipient via e-mail on dispatch	Checkbox (yes/no), default = no. Defines whether the recipient of a shipment is notified via email when the shipment is sent. At least one valid e-mail address must be entered in the extended attribute *Receiver EMail-Address*. A maximum of five e-mail addresses are possible, separated by semicolons.
072: Notify recipient via e-mail on delivery	Checkbox (yes/no), default = no. Defines whether the recipient of a shipment is notified via email when the shipment is delivered. At least one valid e-mail address must be entered in the extended attribute *Receiver EMail-Address*. A maximum of five e-mail addresses are possible, separated by semicolons.
073: Notify recipient via e-mail in the event of a delivery problem	Checkbox (yes/no), default = no. Defines whether the recipient of a shipment is notified via email if a problem occurs during delivery. At least one valid e-mail address must be entered in the extended attribute *Receiver EMail-Address*. A maximum of five e-mail addresses are possible, separated by semicolons.
081: Replacement character for multi-line recipient names	Replacement character for the line separator of multi-line recipient names, default = <empty> (no replacement). Multi-line recipient names are separated in PostOffice by a definable character (default = "\|"). The replacement character defined here replaces this separator. This takes effect if the setting "082: Multi-line recipient names" is switched off or the recipient name has more lines than the maximum possible (in this case the replacement takes effect in the last line).
082: Split multi-line recipient names	Checkbox (yes/no), default = no. Defines whether multi-line recipient names are split across several address lines. A maximum of 3 lines are supported. Second/third name lines appear as additional address lines on the consignment label.
091: Service for returns shipment	Defines the service that is used when entering returns consignments in outgoing mail. If a returns consignment is entered in the MS/OS-AZD, these consignments automatically receive the service set here. Default: <No selection>.
092: Service for incoming returns shipment	Defines the service that is used when entering returns consignments in the inbox. If an incoming returns consignment is entered in the MS/OS-IHS via F4, these consignments automatically receive the service set here. The service stored on the returns consignment (according to setting 091: Service for returns consignment ) is replaced with the service defined here. Default: <No selection>.
093: Formula for shipment reference	See formula for consignment reference. Maximum length total: 35 characters
094: Prefix for returns shipment	Defines a prefix that is placed in front of the reference for returns shipments . This makes it easy to identify returns consignments on the CEP consignment label. Default:"RET: " Example: With UPOC = 0199982000113984 the shipment reference becomes:"RET: 0199982000113984"

Additional requirements

The CEP-specific products must also be available in the tariff model. To do this, you import the corresponding tariff model via system tasks (job engine).
