Handheld scanner test dialog

This test dialog is used to test the reading of handheld devices and to display the read data. In addition, the 5 different signals that can be triggered (depending on the device) can be tested. In the headline on the dialog you can see which device you have selected and is valid for this test dialog. Please note that scans from other devices can be read, but are only displayed in this dialog as a sann from another device.
If the device to be tested is an image scanner, an image preview is displayed in the lower half of the dialog.

Operation

Scan a barcode or image with the previously selected device, and you will see the following information in the display panel:

• Reader type

• Connection location (which serial COM port)

• RFID card type

• UID (Unique Identifier) read from the RFID card.

• Extended data read from the RFID card if available.

• If available, a picture

Buttons:

• Signal OK
  Triggers the OK signal on the selected RFID reader

• Signal Warning
  Triggers the signal Warning on the selected RFID reader

• Signal Error
  Triggers the signal error on the selected RFID reader

• Signal Info 1
  Triggers the Info 1 signal on the selected RFID reader

• Signal Info 2
  Triggers the Info 2 signal on the selected RFID reader

• Reset
  Performs a reset of the RFID device.
  Please note that after the reset, the test dialog and also the read RFID reader no longer function correctly. To do this, you must execute the "Reinitialize" function on the settings page so that the reader is recognized again.

• Scan Image
  This function allows you to perform an image scan on the selected scanner. Please note that this function is not supported by all devices.

• Close
  Closes this dialog. Alternatively, you can also use the Enter or Escape key.

Close this dialog again with the OK or Cancel button or press the Escape or Enter key.
