MDE app delivery

The MDE app "Delivery" is used for the mobile recording of events for consignments, bundles and boxes; in particular for documenting of the delivery.
If an event is assigned to a group (district, district group, depot, unloading point, delivery organization, delivery tour or delivery tour group), it is delivery route group), all shipments that belong to this group and its planned delivery group and whose planned delivery date corresponds to the current date are assigned the corresponding event.

The device receives all shipments that meet the following conditions:

• The shipment must be delivered by the be delivered by the logged in employee

• The shipment was entered no more than 6 days ago. (Time of planned delivery)

• The shipment has an event "Annamhe to Delivery"...

• The shipment does not yet have an event "Delivery attempt" or this event is no more than one day old

The shipment will remain on the device for a maximum of 6 days if no delivery takes place, or no other employee records the event "Annamhe to delivery" is recorded.
If the event "Delivery attempt is recorded with successful delivery, the shipment remains on the device for another day on the device.

The data exchange with CodX PostOffice takes place automatically in the background with the help of the app "CxSync".

Licenses and user rights

This app requires the license "LIC_C_MDE_ZUSTELLUNG".
If this license is not available, a message is displayed at startup and the app is immediately terminated. In this case, please contact the the system administrator.

The logged-in user requires at least the "Write" permission for the "App delivery" function.
If this is not given, a corresponding message is displayed when logging in and no data can be recorded.
User rights are assigned by the system administrator in CodX PostOffice.

Launch app and log in

Click on the "Delivery" icon on the MDE start screen.
This starts the app and the registration form appears.
As a user, enter your employee UPOC and personal password, confirm with <OK>.
The Delivery form is displayed and you can start entering data.

Form delivery

This is the main form and control center of the app. The entire recording of events takes place here.

The configuration of the available events is done by the system administrator in CodX PostOffice.

Only the event types defined for use on MDEs are available for selection.

There are two views available to you. These can be selected under the View menu:

- consignment list

- event list

List with shipments

The list shows all items that the logged-in user has to the logged-in user has to deliver or has already delivered. A maximum of 100 items are displayed.
If there are more items are available, the last entry in each column<... > indicates.
The list is sorted according to the logistics unit(LU).
The entries in the list are marked with different marked.

White: Not delivered item without delivery info
Red: Not delivered item with delivery information
Green: Delivered shipment
With the Filter function you can limit the number of limit the number of items.
The list is updated every minute.

List with events

The list displays the last 200 events are displayed. If there are more events are present, the last entry in each column<... > in each column.
Select an event and click Detail, the details are displayed.(Detail)

• New login
  The currently logged in user is logged out and the login form is displayed again.

• Consignment list

General procedure for recording

1. Select the event in the combo box <Current Event> (normally "Acceptance to Delivery" or "Delivery Attempt").

2. If specific parameters are available for the selected event, the <...> button appears to the right of the Param: the button <...>. Press button and select the corresponding parameter from the list. from the list. see Select parameter.

3. Now enter the corresponding UPOC in the input field (according to the prompt) and press <OK>.

4. When all necessary data has been entered, the event is saved and an acoustic signal sounds. Incorrect entries lead to an error message and a warning tone sounds.

Multi capture (only in shipment view)

Special feature for the event acceptance at delivery

In addition to the displayed entities (consignment/bundle/box/district) the following UPOC types can be entered:

Carrier route, carrier route group, depot, unloading point, delivery route, delivery route group, delivery organization, transshipment point.

If no shipment, bundle or box is recorded, an event is an event is created for all shipments that meet the following conditions fulfil the following conditions:

• The planned delivery date corresponds to the current day

Parameter selection

The parameter selection can be done directly by entering a UPOC or via the parameter selection dialog (Select Parameter form).

This form displays a list of available parameters.

The content of the list is configured in CodX PostOffice.

Select an entry and confirm by clicking <OK>.
If the parameter is a UPOC, this UPOC is transferred to the form Delivery form and confirmed directly with <OK>. directly.

Special feature for events with parameters of an entity such as (warehouse, depot, ...). (no unique UPOC))

The parameter selection only serves as assistance. All possibilities are displayed. If one makes the selection, this is only displayed. But the corresponding UPOC (e.g. warehouse) must be entered.

Capture Signature/Signature Form

This form is used to record a signature and the plain text for it.

For a consignment, enter the name of the person providing the signature in the <Clear text to ...> input field. The name of the recipient is suggested. This is helpful because the signature is often illegible and this is the only way to subsequently verify the identity of the recipient.

If you need to sign for more than one shipment it will say"You are signing for X shipment.". If you press the button [i] to the right of this, you will see a list of all the all affected shipments.

In the <signature/signature> field, the signature is provided by the person receiving the consignment.

• Delete
  The signature is deleted and can be entered again. The plain text is retained.

• Cancel
  The form is left without saving the data. If the signature is mandatory, a corresponding prompt appears. After leaving the dialog, the item is considered delivered in any case. as delivered.

• OK
  The signature is saved. If there is no signature, the form is not saved, a warning message appears and the form remains open. form remains open.

Form consignment list for signature

This form displays a list of all consignments for which items for which the signature is recorded.

Form filter

Based on the criteria set here, the corresponding the corresponding items are displayed in the Delivery form. The
