'you have mail' Global settings

Here you will find all available settings for the 'you have mail' messages. These settings can be made globally for all messages or individually for each message. If a setting has been made at message level, this always takes precedence over the global setting.

A list of all available attributes for editing is displayed. The first column contains the name of the attribute, the second column contains the value of the attribute that can be edited. To edit a value, click with the mouse on the corresponding column and change the value.

'you have mail' settings (Global)

100: Standard language for yhm templates Default language for the template. Please use the same language abbreviations everywhere, e.g. "DE"
110: Timeout for queries [seconds] Duration in seconds until a query is canceled, default setting is 60 seconds.
200: URL of the smtp server for sending yhm emails The name or IP address of your SMTP server for sending e-mails (mandatory).
210: User name of the smtp server for sending yhm emails The user name of the account you want to use to send your emails (only mandatory if authentication method is not set to NONE).
220: Password of the smtp server for sending yhm emails The password for your SMTP server so that an e-mail can be sent (optional).
230: Outgoing mail port of the smtp server for sending yhm eMails The port of your SMTP server for sending e-mails. The standard SMTP port is 25 (mandatory).
240: Domain name if NTLM authentication is used If the NTLM type is set for authentication, a domain must be specified.
250: Outgoing mail port SSL required If this activation box is active, SSL is used, otherwise not.
251: Outgoing mail port TSL required If this activation box is active, TSL is used, otherwise not.
255: Use outbox StartTLS (switched on by default) If this option (checkbox) is activated, an unencrypted connection (e.g. via port 25) is switched to an encrypted connection via TLS if the SMTP server supports this. This option can be deactivated if there are connection problems. The connection then remains unencrypted, even if the SMTP server supports STARTTLS. However, this is not advisable as all data traffic can be read and manipulated. The use of implicit TLS is generally recommended.
260: Outgoing mail authentication method Select one of the possible authentication methods that can be used by an outgoing mail server. Possible settings are:

270: Outgoing mail SSL port If option 250 is activated, the correct port must be entered here.
271: Outgoing mail TSL Port If option 251 is activated, the correct port must be entered here.
280: Alternative URL for determining the follow-up process via web service A URL is entered in this custfield, which can be used as an alternative address for the computer name of the application server. If this address is empty, the default is used, i.e. the computer name of the application server.
In addition, https is automatically used if the CxWebserver on the application server uses an SSL certificate, otherwise http is used.

290: Delay for sending e-mails in seconds This setting can be used to define a delay of 0 to 300 seconds per email. This means that at least the number of seconds defined here must elapse between 2 e-mails being sent before another e-mail is sent. If this is not the case, the system waits until this time has elapsed.
Possible settings are 0 = no waiting time up to 300 seconds waiting time

300: Maximum age [days] of the data still to be taken into account for processing The age of the data relating to the message that should be taken into account for the processing of 'you have Mail' messages. The value corresponds to the number of days, i.e. data (e.g. mailings) that are older than the set number of days are no longer taken into account. The entry time is decisive.
301: Entry date/time of the data from which it is still to be taken into account This date is created automatically when a message is created or copied, with the value of Date when the message was copied or created minus the number of days defined in CustField 300 in the general settings. However, you can adjust this date at any time; it is also taken into account as a condition in the trigger query.
302: Number of days after which the events are to be deleted. 'you have mail' events which are shown as statistics and which are older than the set days are deleted once a day (according to the schedule) with the job "0012:0200 You have mail: Cleanup of events" once a day (according to schedule).
This setting must be greater than the number of days in field 300 and greater than the current date - number of days to delete than the date in field 301.
310: eMail sender for sending yhm messages via eMail Email sender address: Enter the sender address here which recipients of 'you have mail' messages that are notified via email will receive.
330: E-mail recipient address for sending error messages in yhm If this e-mail address is defined, errors that may occur during the yhm process are sent to this e-mail recipient. These can be errors when sending e-mails or SMS, too few licenses or errors when determining addresses and/or e-mail addresses or telephone numbers of recipients.

340: Maximum total size of the attachment in MB (megabytes) All attachments per outgoing e-mail are added together. If the file size exceeds this setting, the attachments are split.
350: Prefix for an e-mail that is split (%d = replacement for numbering) If the emails are split based on the attachment size, this prefix is placed in front of the subject. The replacement character used for numbering is %d.
360: Connection timeout for email in seconds The default timeout for establishing a connection to an email server is set to 30 seconds. This value can be set to a different value if required. Possible settings are from 0 - 65535 seconds.
370: Read timeout for e-mail in seconds The default timeout for reading emails from an EMAil server is set to 30 seconds. This value can be set to a different value if required. Possible settings are from 0 - 65535 seconds.
400: Maximum age of consignments in days which should be taken into account for compartments that have not been emptied The maximum number of days that a consignment is in a compartment and this is not emptied before a 'you have mail' message is sent as a reminder to empty the compartment. The event recording time is decisive.
500: Recipient address for e-mail test messages If your system is a test system, all messages of type HTML are sent to this e-mail address. This prevents users from receiving emails from a test system.

510: Telephone number for SMS test messages If your system is a test system, all SMS-type messages are sent to this telephone number. This prevents users from receiving SMS messages from a test system.

600: Item list for shipment notification for release for invoicing A list of all item UPOCs that can occur in a shipment and for which a you have mail message of the type 'Shipment notification for release for invoicing' is to be sent. Several articles can be defined, these are separated by a comma, semicolon or a space.
700: Maximum number of data records that may be determined in the trigger query This number defines the maximum number of data records that may be selected by the trigger query. If this number is exceeded, an error is triggered and processing is aborted. The default value is set to 100,000.
800: E-mail address post office Defines the e-mail address of the mailroom. This can be selected as the recipient in the messages.
900: Acknowledgement of receipt pending days for reminder recipient Defines the number of days that must have passed since a shipment was entered before a reminder email is sent to the recipient if no confirmation of receipt (event 1200000614 Recipient confirmation of receipt) has been received.
901: Acknowledgement of receipt pending days for reminder mailroom Defines the number of days that must have passed since a consignment was entered before a reminder e-mail is sent to the mailroom if no confirmation of receipt (event 1200000614 Recipient confirmation of receipt) has been received.
