Setting - IHS Web Service

Item data for shipping form

The IHS Web Service Interface allows a third-party system to request shipment data. This function is particularly important for the creation of shipping forms.

For the IHS Web Service to be able to correctly, the following settings must be made for the item data:

Power: Power selection

Letter format: Selection of the letter format

Weight: Enter the weight of the shipment

Now these settings can be overridden by passing them as parameters. (See Admindoc)

The shipments created by the IHS Web Service are created with the settings set above.

People master data

The IHS Web Service Interface can be used to personal data can be queried, recorded and changed.

In the AdminDoc you will find more information about the interface.

Here you define the access rights to the personal data.

Digital Mailbox

The IHS Web Service Interface can be used to information about consignments and, under certain circumstances, also can also be controlled.

In the Digial Mailbox tab you can make settings that influence the behavior of the shipment information retrieval. during mail information retrieval.

If this is set, one receives for the function GetMailItemInfo without UPOC all consignment information.
101: Allow queries for Allow all shipments for customers (Y/N) Here you can define whether shipments of a customer may be called off. If this is is set, you get for the function GetMailItemInfo function, you will receive all the shipment information that has been have been entered.

Pakadoo

With Pakadoo you are able to exchange data between CodX PostOffice and the Pakadoo service.

In order to exchange data with Pakadoo, you also need also a corresponding license for CodX PostOffice.

In the Pakadoo tab, you define the settings required for successful data exchange with Pakadoo. successful data exchange with Pakadoo.

100: URL Pakadoo WebService The URL of the Pakadoo WebService is provided by Pakadoo provided.
There are two URL's. One for the production system and one for the integration system:

110: AppKey The AppKey is provided by CodX Software and identifies a customer (company) to Pakadoo.

Company address

For private mail a company address must be be entered. The company address can be entered under Settings / Service provider (detail dialog) / Settings. (Details see Client / Settings)
For CodX PostOffice there is only one company address.

Process description

The data exchange takes place as follows:

CodX PostOffice sends the recipient data (email address) of people who receive private mail. address) of people who receive private mail.
