| 300: Definition of the different signals for RFID events |
Text |

This custfield defines which alarms are to be signaled and how. The defined signal is displayed for a maximum of 5 seconds, then the display changes back to standard. The following signals (alarm types) are available:
SUCCESS = All is well
WARNING = Warning
ERROR = Error message
INFO_1 = Info freely definable
INFO_2 = Info freely definable
Each signal type is defined by listing the following signals separated by commas.
The following tone signals are possible:
LOW = High short tone
HIGHT = Low short tone
The following LED signals are possible:
RED_ON = Red LED permanently on
RED_OFF = Red LED off
RED_BLINK = Red LED flashing
GREEN_ON = Green LED permanently on
GREEN_OFF = Green LED off
GREEN_BLINK = Green LED flashes
Example (default setting):
SUCCESS=RED_OFF,GREEN_ON,HIGH;
WARNING=RED_OFF,GREEN_BLINK,LOW;

| 310: Timeout in milliseconds until the same card can be read again |
Long |
10 |
This timeout controls the waiting time of the RFID reader until the same card can be read again. This serves as security so that the same card is not read several times in succession. If another card is read within the timeout, this timeout does not apply.
The value is set in milliseconds, i.e. the default value 500 is 500 ms = 0.5 second(s). |
| 330: BLE master key, leave blank for BLE without encryption |
Text |
<empty> |
On the RFID reader, the BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) protocol is activated, provided that the corresponding hardware allows it. This can work with an encryption, for this the encryption string must be entered in this Custfield, in the format hexadecimal numbers, which must always be indicated consecutively in groups of 2. The key length is 16 characters, so in hexadecimal format it is 32 characters.
Example:

| 400: Disable selective USB power saving |
Boolean |
Enabled |
If this option is enabled, the power saving feature on USB devices is disabled when CodX PostOffice is started.
This prevents an RFID reader or barcode scanner from going to sleep because of the power saving feature. |
