Article assignment (mapping)

This is where the mapping of external article identifications to the articles defined in CodX PostOffice defined in CodX PostOffice.
This mapping is used if a specific article has to be assigned to the mailings during a data import (e.g. mail import of the mail allicance SEM interface). article must be assigned to the items.

The easiest way to create assignments is to use the supplied file xMailAllianceProducts.xml and then assign the CodX PostOffice articles.

Article Assignment for MailAlliance SEM Interface

Select the MailAlliance SEM Interface module in the combo box.
The list shows the existing mappings of the SEM product ID to the CodX PostOffice articles.
For more information about the products supported by the SEM interface, please contact mail alliance.

Importing the MailAlliance SEM products
The product list is delivered with the file CxMailAllianceProducts.xml and is located in the installation directory of CodX PostOffice. If there are new products, the product list can be supplemented or replaced. The easiest way to get an overview of what has changed is to import this product list.
Afterwards you complete the data with the article assignments and save it.

Procedure after import
In the list you can see at a glance whether the products have changed. They are marked in colour:

  • Weiss: Product already existed in the list.

  • Yellow: For this product, the SEM has changed product name. (pure info, this is not relevant)

  • Light green: This product has been newly imported and an assignment of a CodX PostOffice article must be made in order to save it.

  • Red: Product was not imported. Possibly delete from the list.

In order to save all the changes, all entries need to be assigned to a CodX PostOffice article.
If you need to create a new CodX PostOffice article for a new SEM product, delete the entry from the list again and save all other changes. Then create a new article in CodX PostOffice, run the import again and assign it.

Individual recording of the assignments
Maintain the assignments by clicking the Add button, then enter the SEM product ID and select the article in the combo box. and selecting the article in the combo box. An SEM product name does not have to be assigned. It is mainly used for import.
You have to ask mailalliance for the current product IDs.
Attention: The product ID (e.g. T1205007 for Info 250) is not the product ID, but 28 (as of October 2019).
Save the definitions via Save.
