DIE POST - Customer data detail

The customer data contains all relevant data / settings for the sender, sender / invoice recipient, franking licences and DataTransfer. These can be defined per production location and / or customer. (#DIE-POST)

DT = This information must only be provided if the electronic interface DataTransfer to DIE POST is used.

  • Domicile post office
    Enter the postcode and town of your domicile post office here. The value will be printed on the labels.
    This is where any returns are forwarded, for example, if no additional sender information is available.
    If you are unsure, please contact your customer advisor at DIE POST.

  • Sender address 1-4
    In these fields, specify the sender of the items. These values are used for the documents without DataTransfer and the replacement documents.

  • Sender ID (sender identification) / Sender Name (name of sender) / Provider Info (provider identification) / KDP number DT
    This data can be found in the DataTransfer information sheet "Customer data" which you will receive from DIE POST after registration.
    The Provider Info is the Ordnungsnummer Post (ONRP) and is used for letters with barcode (BMB) and Letter-ID.

  • Confirmation e-mail / OK Send e-mail DT
    If you want to receive a confirmation e-mail from the post office for the data submission, you can enter the destination address here and activate the checkbox checkbox. Under certain circumstances, this e-mail can also indicate detected errors and problems.
    By deactivating the checkbox, the sending of this confirmation e-mail can be temporarily interrupted.

  • Sender
    Optionally, the sender of the consignment can be specified here. If the fields are empty, the sender is used as the sender.

  • Invoice reference no.
    Enter the invoice reference number (RRN) of the sender / originator here. This is used for letters with barcode (BMB) and letter ID.
    You will find your invoice reference number on every monthly invoice from Post CH AG.

  • Language
    Enter here the language for the forms of DIE POST.

  • Unit price
    If the customer has a price agreement for unit prices with DIE POST, this is selected.

  • Franking licenses: AVZO licence DT
    In the AVZO field, enter your 8-digit franking licence number VGK. The definition for this comes from DIE POST.

  • Franking licences: BMZ domestic / foreign
    Enter your franking licence number for registered letter items here.
    You can view your franking licences at www.post.ch/kundencenter > My profile > User profile overview > Company account.
    BMZ domestic: 8 digits
    BMZ international: 4 characters (1 digit alphanumeric and 2...4 digits numeric)

  • Franking licences: APP (A Mail Plus, Dispomail, court document / letter demand / debt collection document).
    Enter your franking licence number for unaddressed letter items here.
    You can view your franking licences at www.post.ch/kundencenter > My profile > User profile overview > Company account.
    APP: 6 digits

  • Easy DT
    If Easy is selected, no dispatch list is created for domestic registered mail, A Mail Plus, Dispomail and court documents. This option may only be activated at the beginning of the month and in consultation with the customer advisor.

  • Franking Licenses: Package
    Information for interface BMZ DataTransfer.

    Package: 8 digits

  • Franking licenses: PostPac Promo
    Information for interface BMZ DataTransfer.

  • Franking licences: International PRIORITY Plus
    Enter your franking licence number for letter mail items with the PRIORITY Plus additional service here. If no franking licence number is entered in this field, the BMZ International franking licence number will be used.

    International PRIORITY Plus: 4 characters (1 alphanumeric digit and 2...4 digits)

  • Franking licenses: International Untracked
    Enter your franking licence number here for documents and small goods for which a customs declaration is required.
    You can view your franking licences at www.post.ch/kundencenter > My profile > User profile overview > Company account.
    International Untracked: 4 characters (1 alphanumeric digit and 2...4 digits)

  • SFTP settings DT
    Here you enter all the necessary information for the exchange of files between CodX PostOffice and DIE POST.

    User: Username of the SFTP access (same as Sender ID, see above)
    Password / Certificate Here you can choose how you want to protect the data to be transferred: Only with password or with certificate (Public- and private key)
    - Password: Password to the user name
    - Certificate: Choose the previously created file(private key )
    How to create a Public- and Private-Key file is described in THE POST FDS manuals. (File Transfer Clients Manual / Chapter: Creating of an Open SSH Key Pair with PuTTYGen.exe) The Public-Key has to be sent to DIE POST.
    Server URL Name of the SFTP server
    fds.post.ch
    Server port Port number of the SFTP server (default is 22)
    Import path Path on the SFTP server where the files are stored that are transferred from CodX-PostOffice to DIE POST.
    For tests: dfu-outbox-t
    For production: dfu-outbox
    Export path Path on the SFTP server where the files transferred from DIE POST to CodX-PostOffice are stored.
    For tests: dfu-inbox-t
    For production: dfu-inbox
