Search and select person

In this dialog, persons can be searched and selected.

To search, enter one or more search terms separated by spaces.

The search function also supports wildcards and the special characters for concatenation and exact match of search terms (see IHS Server Settings).

The search starts automatically with a slight delay when entering search terms.

The persons found are displayed in the results list. This list can be sorted accordingly by clicking on a column heading. sorted accordingly.

When the focus is in the search field, you can scroll through the results list using the "Cursor UP", "Cursor Down", "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys. can be used to scroll through the list.

When the focus is in the result list, all standard navigation keys are supported.

To select a person, double-click on a line or select a line and click on Apply.

Recently deleted persons

The found persons are read from a cache read. Therefore, it may happen that a person is found, who has already been deleted from the database. This person can not be transferred.
In order to update the cache, you must start the job 0000:0002 SorttreeServer: SortTree Generator.

Controls:

• Search terms
  Enter the search terms here

• Result list (persons)
  Displays a list with the persons found

• Take over
  The person selected in the result list is transferred

• Cancel
  The selection is cancelled and no person is taken over

• Help
  Displays this online help.

The icon in the first column of the result list has the following meaning:

• Colored head
  Active person

• Grey head:
  Inactive person

Administrators can configure the delay for searching (default = 500 [ms]): Custfield TableID=1646, ID=0, Name="Delay for search in IHS cache".
